Student review:
There are many ways to learn about positive reinforcement training and develop your skills, but this is one of the best ways to do it. Unlike a clinic or course, your learning will start exactly where your knowledge and skills are currently at. No matter your skill levels with horses or positive reinforcement training, you can learn without having to go over material you’re already familiar with or finding that you’re in over your head in material you don’t understand yet.
Every animal has something to teach us; one of the most valuable parts of the experience was getting to work with several different animals of multiple species, which is valuable whether you don’t have animals of your own to work with or just want to expand your knowledge beyond your own animals. There's no better way to get a wide variety of individual animals and behaviors while also getting the time to become familiar with each animal as an individual.
Mary also has a lot of insight into working in the equine industry, which is useful for students who are considering an equine-related career. If you’re curious about equine health and husbandry, there are also plenty of opportunities to learn.
Being a student with Mary was one of the best choices I ever made! If you’re looking to expand your depth and breadth of training knowledge, I highly recommend this experience.
